Push POS is a point-of-sale system created to solve a common pain point in the hospitality industry: the need for an affordable, reliable, and seamless solution that works under pressure. Their mission is to become the go-to tech partner for restaurants, simplifying operations by reducing the need for multiple apps and hardware.

WHY DID THEY NEED US?

Push POS came to us with a basic logo, but no broader visual identity. They needed help refining their existing primary logo, creating a responsive logo suite and expanding it into a full brand system that could communicate their values and stand out in a saturated market. Their goals were to:

  • Create a bold yet approachable brand identity that showcases reliability, affordability, and innovation.
  • Strike the right balance between playful and professional, giving restaurant owners confidence in their tech partner.
  • Capture a tone of voice that feels efficient, effective, confident and trustworthy.

THE CHALLENGE

The existing logo lacked flexibility and didn’t communicate the brand’s value clearly. Push POS needed an identity that reflected their unique offering—simple, dependable solutions—while visually setting them apart from complex, overpriced competitors. The challenge was creating something modern and engaging, without losing the sense of trust and reliability that’s critical in the tech space.

HOW DID WE DO IT?

We started with competitor and market research to establish how we can position them in the market. From there, we created moodboards to help guide the overall creative direction. Once aligned, we refined their logo – preserving its essence while improving form and function. Softened corners gave it warmth and accessibility, while careful adjustments to kerning and alignment created a more polished, professional look.

With the refined logo as a foundation, we built a full visual identity including a suite of logo variations for flexibility and adaptability, typography suite, colour palette, photography styling & direction and other branded assets to ensure consistency across all digital and physical applications.

WHAT PROBLEMS DID WE SOLVE?

We kept what made the original logo recognisable, but modernised it to increase appeal and usability. Rounded edges and italicised, forward-leaning typography reinforcing movement, support, and ease – key qualities of the Push POS experience.

By developing multiple logo versions (primary, secondary, and brandmark), we gave Push POS the flexibility to apply their brand consistently across everything from product interfaces to sales materials. The colour palette was chosen to strike a balance: friendly and accessible to small business owners, yet clean and credible enough to instill trust.

The new identity is cohesive, scalable, and designed to grow with the brand and stand the test of time: eliminating the need for costly rebrands in the near future.

THE RESULT

Push POS now has a complete brand identity system – logo suite, colour palette, typography suite, iconography, and social/digital templates for their team to utilise on Canva – all built to work across digital platforms, merchandise, and hardware. With their refreshed visual identity, Push POS now stands out in a competitive space, armed with a brand that clearly communicates their value: simple, reliable, restaurant-ready tech.
